Raj and Yashvi

For three days in November 2025, Raj and Yashvi celebrated their Hindu wedding on private grounds in Auburndale, Florida, surrounded by 65 of the people who love them most. There was no ballroom and no venue playbook. The celebration took the shape of the family itself, and at the center of it was a groom who looked at his bride the way every bride hopes to be looked at. I am Mona Chaudhry of Sona Photography, and this is their story, frame by frame.

The way he looked at her

That wedding was all full of family, but the love that Raj had for Yashvi was out of this world. He was mesmerized. She could do no wrong. The way he looked at her when I told him to do certain poses. And he was loving on her, and I enjoyed experiencing that.

A daughter, completely surrounded

And she was just as sweet. She was so loved, you could tell from her family, her brother loving on her, her mom and dad.

Three days on private grounds

Their celebration ran for three days, November 28 to 30, 2025, with 65 guests on a private estate in Auburndale, Florida. With no ballroom and no venue playbook, the weekend was built around the family itself.

What private grounds ask of a photographer

Photographing a wedding on private grounds asks for experience: reading light that changes from room to room and hour to hour, following movement as events unfold, and staying calm when a live celebration does not follow a script. That experience is what keeps a celebration like this one well covered.
